" The sudden demise of Chandrashekar has left a void in Indian cricket," . "It was an unfortunate end. Apart from his batting abilities Chandrashekar was a humble person. He carried no airs with him when he came to Goa for his first match," stated former GCA president Chetan Desai who was Secretary during Chandrashekars first visit to Goa.
