Goa declares on 553 for 5;in sight of win

Goa are in sight of registering a huge win against Manipur in the Ranji Trophy tie (Plate group) after declaring on 553 for five on the second day and claiming two Manipur second innings wicket at the Goa Cricket Association (GCA) Academy ground in Porvorim on Saturday.
Manipur trails Goa by 426 runs.
Smit Patel was not out on 100 for Goa when the innings were declared along with Suyash Prabhudesai who was not out on 61.
Goa’s first innings total was consolidated with Vaibhav Govekar’s 88 , a 47 by Amulya Pandrekar and 89 scored by captain Amit Verma.
Darshan Misal and Amit Verma shared the first two Manipur second innings wickets.
