Kerala won the Vijay Merchant Trophy (South Zone) tie against Goa by an innings and 174 runs at the Goa Cricket Association (GCA) academy ground in Porvorim on Sunday, the final day of the three day contest. Kerala gained seven points and Goa none.
Goa who had ended the second day on 127 for 7 began their inning in the morning losing the remaining three wickets by adding 17 runs to their previous day's total.
Shreyash U scored 17 for Goa on the last day in the 86 balls he faced.
