NEWSBYTES PORVORIM Dempo Cricket Club won the Goa Premier League, organised by Goa cricket Association (GCA), defeating Alcon Maregao Cricket Club (MCC) by 73 runs  at the GCA Academy ground in Porvorim on Monday. Alcon MCC who needed to score 183 for a win was bowled for 113 before lunch break. Captain Darshan Misal top scored for the losers with his 21 from 69 balls. Sumiran Amonkar and Prathamesh Gawas congtributed 18 runs each. Vikas Singh of Dempo who was named the man of the match claimed four wickets in his 24.1 overs whilst giving away 51 runs. Rohan Bogati also took four wickets from his 22 overs and giving away 35 runs. Yash Parob took the other wicket.
