Goa claim 3 points in drawn tie with J&K

PORVORIM Goa gained three points from their first innings lead against Jammu and Kashmir as their Ranji Trophy tie at The Goa Cricket Association (GCA) Academy ground in Porvorim ended in a draw on Thursday. Jammu and Kashmir were bowled out for 271 on the fourth day and were asked to follow on . In reply, the boys from Jammu and Kashmir managed to score 242 for the loss of five wickets at the close of play. Ian Chauhan was the highest score for J7K with his 113 not out. Snehal Kauthankar was declared the man of the match for his innings of 130 not out. Lakshay Garg ended being the highest wicket taker for Goa with a tally of six wickets after having claimed four in J&K's first innings. Amulya Pandrekar who claimed a wicket in the first innings claimed another in J&K's second .Felix Alemao and Anil Verma claimed a wicket in J7K's second innings.
