NEWS BYTES PORVORIM Goa Cricket Association (GCA) asked Arunachal Pradesh to follow on after bowling them out for 114 and had them reeling at 31 for 2 at close of stumps on second days play of the CK Nayudu Trophy organised by BCCI at GCA cricket ground in Sanguem on Monday. Arunachal Pradesh now trails Goa by 408 runs with 8 wuickets in hand. Goa who resumed on 336 declared their first innings on 553 for 6 . Kashyap Bakle scored his maiden double century (210) from 302 balls. Wicket keeper Vasu Tiwari was not out on 101 and Deep Kasvankar was not out on 42 when Goa declared its first innings. Manish Kakode claimed four wickets for Goa and S Mishra claimed two. Shubham Tari, Keith Pinto, Deepraj Gaonkar and Deep Kasvankar claimed one wicket each. S A Mishra and Keith Pinto claimed one wicket each of Arunachal Pradesh’s second innings.
