Goa restricted Odisha to 229 for seven on day one of the Elite Group C Ranji Trophy tie at the Vikash Cricket Ground, Bhubaneshwar on Monday.
Goa won the toss and elected to field and except for a 100 by opener Sandeep Pattnaik , got the hosts out on regular intervals through the ninety overs.
Krishna Das, Lakshay Garg and Amogh Desai claimed two wickets a piece for Goa while darshan Misal got the other.
Krishna Das and Amogh Desai claimed their two wickets in 23 and 0 overs respectively.The Odisha lads scalped 44 runs from Krishna Das while they scored 44 runs through Amogh Desai. Lakshay Garg gave away 52 runs in 22 overs.
