NEWS BYTES PORVORIM Badem Sports & Cultural Club beat Union Sports Club of Marcela by 6 wickets in the Tiswadi  zone Division B league organised by Goa Cricket Association (GCA) at  the Academy ground in Porvorim on Tuesday. Union SC opted to bat after winning the toss and was bowled for 117 in 26.2 overs. Winners Badem Sports & CC scored 119 for the loss of 4 wickets in 17.1 overs. Shubham Chari of Badem was declared the man of the match for his 3 wickets in his 6 overs wherein he gave away 23 runs. Abhinandan Thakar of Badem claimed 2 wickets in his 6 overs and gave away 19 runs. Sohail Khajwa of badem finished as the top scorer with his 37 runs from 35 balls. Pares Gaonkar of Union scored 28 from 32 balls.
