Goa Cricket Association has condoled the demise of Deepak Shirgaonkar.
"GCA is deeply shocked at the passing away of Deepak. He was a kind-hearted person and always had a smile on his face. Always very cheerful. GCA family is heartbroken at this irreplaceable loss.
"GCA deeply mourns the sad and untimely demise of our umpire and colleague Deepak bab. GCA offers deepest condolences to the bereaved family. May God give them strength in these tough times. And may his soul rest in eternal peace," says a press note issued by GCA secretary Vipul Phadke.
