NEWS BYTES PORVORIM Goa Cricket Association (GCA) trailed Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) by 255 runs with one first innings wicket in hand in the Cooch Behar trophy match organised by BCCI at the Sanguem Goa Cricket Association stadium in Sanguem, Goa on Sunday. Resuming on their overnight score of 342 for 7, Punjab were bowled out for 432 and in reply Goa was on 177 for 9 at close of second days play. Deep Kasvankar was instrumental in bowling Punjab out with his overall haul of 7 wickets from 39.2 overs. He surrendered 161 runs in the bargain. Shivank desai finished with 2 wickets and Yash Kasvankar had a wicket to his credit. Opener Chittem Devankumar top scored for Goa with his 70 from 88 balls . vardhan Misquin is the second highest scorer with his 20 from 47 balls. Sanath Nevagi (19); Yash Kasvankar ( 15) and Deep Kasvankar (140 were the other Goan batsmen to cross the double digit mark.
