Goa Tuskers succumb to ONGC

PORVORIM Goa Tuskers faced their second successive defeat when they were beaten by 43 runs by ONGC t the GCA Academy grounds in porvorim on Thursday. ONGC won the toss and opted to bat and the decision proved beneficial as opening batsman Shivam Chaudhary hit a scintillating 87 of 57 balls to leave his team on solid foundation before his dismissal. Shivam hit eight fours and three sixes in his 52 ball knock.Along with opening partner Om Bhosle who scored forty of 28 balls the duo posted an opening stand of 127. Nitish Rana and Saurabh Kumar scored 21 and 27 runs respectively to consolidate their total to 188 for the loss of seven wickets. Goa tuskers never got to a good start with the opening four batsmen just scrapping runs together.Sixth man Darshan Misal top scored for Goa Tuskers with 48.It were the men who came in the 6th, 7th and 8th position who did bring uabout a respectable score before they were all bowled out in 18.5 overs for 145.
