NEWS BYTES PORVORIM The match between Goa Cricket Association (GCA) and Karnataka Cricket Association (KCA) was called off just before tea break with Karnataka bagging three points because of their first innings lead and Goa finishing with one point at the GCA Academy ground in Porvorim on Friday. Goa was on 150 for the loss of three wickets in their second innings when the match was called off with Suyash Prabhudesai not out in 61. Earlier, Goa who resumed its first innings on 321 for 8 was bowled out for 373 and asked to follow on. Opener Amogh Desai scored 25 for Goa and Sumiran Amonkar contributed 26. Snehal Kauthankar made 21 and Darshan Misal was not out on 10.
