Polem Cricket Club and Sportsweek Cricket Club registered wins in the South Zone B division matches organized by Goa Cricket Association (GCA)on Tuesday.
Polem Cricket club beat Maratha Warriors by 7 wickets when the former won the bat and opted to field. The restricted Maratha Warriors for 194 for 7 in 40 overs and went on to score 195 for the loss of 3 wickets in 23.2 overs.
Rohit Naik of Polem CC was adjudged the Man of the Match for his 56 from 39 balls and three wicket haul from 8 overs.
Rupam Kandolkar of Maratha warriors ended as the highest scorer, not out on 74 from 89 balls and Pravin Naik of Polem CC was also not out on 63 from 44 balls.
In the other match , Sportsweek CC beat Maruti Sports Club by 6 wickets.
Maruti SC was bowled for 100 in 30 overs and the winners went on to score 101 for the loss of 4 wickets in 19.5 overs.
