Rajesh Ghodge , member of the Goa Cricket Association Ranji Trophy selection Committee and former Ranji Trophy player passed away on Sunday whilst attending a cricket match in Margao. Ghodge represented Goa in the Ranji trophy Team and was part of the Ranji trophy selection committee from 2015 to 2018. "Cricket in Goa has lost a great person. Ghodge was always there to help in any way he could and his loss is a great loss for cricket in Goa ," stated GCA President Suraj Lotlikar. " "Cricket was Ghodge's first love. He would do anything for cricket. Time or place were never problems for Ghodge when it came to do something for cricket. GCA has lost a person who tirelessly worked to improve cricket in Goa ," stated GCA Secretary Daya Pagi. The Executive Committee of GCA condoled the death of Mr. Rajesh Ghodge. " We have lost a friend of cricket," was the condolence message of the GCA Executive Committee.
