PORVORIM Reliance One started their campaign in Goa Corporate League 3 with a convincing 11 run win over Indian Oil at the GCA academy groun in Porvorim on Sunday. The match saw the wicket keepers of both teams contributing with the ball and helping ease their respective team totals up. Indian Oil won the toss and left the onus of scoring on their opponents Reliance A. The runners up of last years tournament notched up 186 runs in the alloted twenty overs. Captain Saurabh Tiwari top scored for his team with 67 runs from 35 balls.sauranh was assisted by a well stroked 43 from 19 balls by wicket kickeeper Jitesh Sharma. Indian Oil started well with opener Ankush Bans stroking 45 from 19 balls. However, there was a slow down in the scoring with Relaince capturing two quick wickets. However wicketeeper pinal Shah's 70 of 40 balls gave a glimmer of hope of a Indian oil fightback. Reliance One , however, backed on Nidhesh to do the damage with his fine bowling as he ended with four wickets from four over and went home with the man of the match award.
