Goa trail Jharkhand by 16 runs on the third day of the Round IV Elite Group C Ranji Trophy tie being played at the Goa Cricket Association (GCA) Academy ground in Porvorim on Friday.
Jharkhand who resumed their innings at 147 for 2 were bowled out for 390 on the third day with a lead of 16 runs.
Goa started their second innings losing the wicket of Sumiran Amonkar for one and were ten for the loss of one wicket at close of play.
Amogh Desai and night watchman VG Kahlon were on four each at close of play.
Amulya Pandrekar was the highest wicket taker for Goa – claiming three wickets in 26 overs and giving away 78 runs. Amogh Desai , Darshan Misal and VG Kahlon all claimed two wickets each.
