Chhattisgarh Cricket association (CSCS) trailed Goa Cricket Association (GCA) by 40 runs on the penultimate day of the Cooch Behar Trophy tie organised by BCCIat Sector 10 BSP cricket stadium in Bhilai on Monday.
Goa who resumed its second innings on 117 for 4 was bowled out for 186 and Chhattisgarh found itself on 118 for 5 at close of stumps of third days play.
Chittem Jeevankumar was not out on 18 for Goa when they finished their second innings. Rijul Pathak scored 25 and Deep Kasvankar was out on 21.
Fardeen Khan wasthe pick of Goan bowlers claiming 3 wickets in 14 overs. Deep Kasvankar claimed the other 2 wickets.
