Chhattisgarh get better of Goa by 8 wkts: Ranji Trophy

NEWS BYTES PORVORIM Chhattisgarh Cricket Association got the better of Goa Cricket Association (GCA) by 8 wickets in the Ranji trophy match organised by BCCI at SV Narayan international stadium in Raipur on Friday. Goa who resumed on 41 for 1 was bowled out for 223 in 86 overs  leaving Chhattisgarh needing 52 runs to win which they did losing two wickets in the bargain. Chhattisgarh had declared its first innings on  531 for 9 and bowled Goa out for 359. Ishaan Gadekar top scored for Goa with his 59 from 139 balls. Captain Darshan Misal scored 35 from 77 balls along with Mohit Redkar who also scored 35 but from 56 balls. Manthan Khutkar contrinuted 15 and Arjun Tendulkar made 13. Vijesh Prabhudesai claimed two wickets for Goa.
