PORVORIM Goa Cricket Association organised a seminar on score keeping for fresher's from 3rd to 5th May 2018 at GCA Porvorim. Twenty six participants from Goa attended the seminar along with a few Goa state women cricketers. Mr. Ramesh Parab (Statistician & Scorer-BCCI panel) took the seminar. He was assisted by Mr. Kishore Lavne (GCA/BCCI Online scorer), Mr. Atmaram Arolkar (GCA/BCCI Manual Scorer) & Mr. Rohit Naik ( GCA/BCCI Manual Scorer) Participants were introduced to the traditional method of scoring called the Linear Method. Mr. Daya Pagi, Hon. Secretary,GCA inaugurated the seminar . Participants were put through practical and theoretical exams on 5th May 2018,the results of which are awaited. Participants were provided with a scoring kit.
