Goa Cricket Association (GCA) defeated uttar Pradesh Cricket Association by 11 runs in their Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament organised by BCCI at Jaipuria Vidhyalaya ground on Tuesday.
Goa batted first and went on to score 131 for the loss of 7 wickets in their allotted 20 overs and restricted UP to 120 for 8.
Wicketkepper KD Eknath top scored for Goa remaining not out on 31 from 35 balls. Opener and captain Snehal Kauthankar scored 26 from 37 balls and Suyash Prabhudesai contributed 24. Tunish Sawkar scored 23.
Lakshay Garg claimed four wickets for Goa from his 4 overs. Arjun Tendulkar claimed 2 wickets and Ruthvik Naik took one wicket.
