NEWS BYTES PORVORIM Goa Cricket Association (GCA) succumbed to Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) by 57 runs in the Vijay Hazare Trophy match played at the Alur Cricket stadium in Karnataka on Thursday. Tamil Nadu batted first and went on to score 373 for the loss of 4 wickets in the allotted fifty overs. In reply, Goa managed to score 316 for the loss of six wickets. Suyash Prabhudesai and Arjun Tendulkar claimed two wickets each for Goa in their allotted 10 overs. Snehal Kauthankar top scored for Goa with 67 from 84 balls hitting six fours and a six.SD lad was not out on 62 from 55 balls.Ishaan gadekar made 51 from 49 balls and wicketkeeper KD Eknath scored 50 from 55 balls. Deepraj Gaonkar scored 42 from 31 balls. Mohit Redkar (16); captain Suyash Prabhudesai (11) and Lakshay Garg(10) crossed the double digit mark for Goa.
