NEWS BYTES PORVORIM Pernem Cultural and Sports Club got the better of Panjim Gymkhana by 7 wickets in the Division B league (2021-22) organised by Goa Cricket Association (GCA) for North Goa on Friday. Panjim Gymkhana won the toss and opted to bat to be bowled by the winners for 129 in 34.4 overs. Pernem CSC scored 130 for the loss of 3 wickets in just 17.5 overs . Omkar Ghule was the hero of the day for his 50 from 42 balls and one wicket he claimed. Rajay Kudalkar from Pernem finished as the second highest scorer with 36 from 27 balls. Mehank Dharwadkar from Panjim Gymkhana finished as the third highest scorer of the day with his 27 from 35 balls. Shubham Jha claimed 3 wickest for Pernem CSC in his 7.4 overs and he gave away 28 runs. .Kaushal Chari claimed 2 wickets in his 5 overs . Al Fatah club were awarded a walk over in the South Goa league.
