NEWS BYTES PORVORIM Uttar Pradesh Cricket association (UPCA) beat Goa Cricket Association (GCA) by eight wickets in the Mens U25 State A trophy organised by BCCI at Sehwag International school on Friday. Goa was asked to bat first and they made 152 in 46.4 overs from the allotted fifty. Uttar Pradesh , in return made 155 for the loss of two wickets in 27.1 overs. Yogesh Kauthankar top scored for Goa with his 57 from 109 balls. Soham Sameer was the second highest scorer with his 25 from 72 balls. Captain Manthan Khutkar made 20 from 47 balls. Keith pinto with his 19 was the other player to score the double digit mark for Goa. Shubam Tari claimed the two wickets for Goa from his seven overs and surrendering 50 runs.
