Mumbai beats Goa by 119 runs : Ranji Trophy

NEWS BYTES PORVORIM Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) beats Goa Cricket Association (GCA) by 119 runs in the 2021-22 Ranji Trophy clash organized by BCCI at the Narendra Modi stadium ground ‘B’ in Motera on Sunday Goa needing 231 runs, for a win, was bowled by Mumbai for 112. Mumbai declared its second innings on 395 for 9, after resuming on 317 for 7. Amulya Pandrekar , who was not out on 23 from 42 balls , was the top scorer for Goa in its second innings with only 6 other batsmen able to cross the double digit mark but non able to cross 20 runs. Bowler Amit Yadav ended as the second highest scorer with his 19 from 58 balls. Bowler Darshan Misal and Shrikant Wagh both scored 14 runs. Amogh Desai, Shubham Ranjane and wicket keeper KD Eknath all scored 10 runs. Goa had dismissed Mumbai for 163 in its first innings and then went on to score 327. Mumbai declared its second innings on 395 for 9 and bowled Goa for 112.
