NEWS BYTES PORVORIM Vidarbha Cricket Association beat Goa Cricket Association by nine wickets in the Senior Womens One day trophy organised by BCCI at Nehru stadium in Guwahati on Friday. Goa batted first and was dismissed for 70 in 32.4 overs. In reply, Vidarbha made 71 for the loss of one wicket on 15.5 overs. Captain Sunanda and Shrey both scored 13 for Goa in 37 and 38 balls respectively to be the only players to cross the double digit mark. Poorva Bhaidkar claimed the only wicket for Goa from 5.5 overs at the cost of 29 runs.
