NEWS BYTES PORVORIM Goa Cricket Association (GCA) Hon. Secretary Vipul Phadke launched the GCA grassroot centre in Sanguem  by cutting the ribbon in the presence of Suresh Mahadevan, Suryakant Naik, Manohar Naik, Sangeeta Manjrekar and Prakash Mayenkar, Director of Coaching & Cricket Operations. More than 45 players from the age-group of 13 to 16 years, were also present along with their parents, and Physical Education teachers. Level 1 coach Paresh Padiyar will be the in-charge coach at the Sanguem centre. During the inaugural function, Vipul had a good interaction with the players and motivated them to work hard to realise their potential. The details of the coach and camp were furnished by Prakash Mayenkar, while Manohar Naik introduced the dignitaries. Meanwhile, cricket kits were distributed to the schools from Sanguem area.
