Thirty probables for the Ranji Trophy and to represent Goa in the other tournaments organised by BCCI got together at the GCA grounds in Porvorim for the first physical training sessions for the coming season.
After filling in their general data form the players are expected to be assessed for their level of fitness and then put through a fitness regime that will be designed by GCA physio Tracy Fernandes.
The boys are expected to be divided into groups of fifteen and will be put through strength and running exercises- the weather permitting.
“The boys will be separated into two groups of fifteen each after their physical tests,” stated GCA physio Tracy.
The boys are expected to be monitored through the month long exercise before GCA decides the location where the boys will be sent for match training.
