NEWS BYTES PORVORIM Alcon MCC requires 183 runs after dismissing Dempo Cricket Club for 205 in their second innings at close of second days of the Goa Premier League final organised by Goa Cricket Association (GCA) at the GCA academy ground in Porvorim on Sunday. Resuming on their overnight score of 135 for 5, Margao Cricket Club was dismissed for 176 withPiyush yadav top scoring for 44 and Shourya Jaglan contributed 37. Rohan bogati claimed five wickets for Dempo from 19 overs and gave away 67 runs. Yash Porob and Vikas Singh claimed two wickets each. Manthan Khutkar who remained not out on 108 from 188 top scored in Dempo’s second innings.deep Kasvankar scored 59 and Yash Porob with his 17 was the other player to cross the double figure mark. Captain Darshan Misal was once again in the thick of wickets for MCC, claiming 8 wickets in his 29.3 overs and giving away 78 runs. Heramb Parab and Keith pinto shared the other two wickets. Alcon MCC resumes on 4 for no loss .
