PORVORIM Global Sports Club defeated Pilerne Cricket club by 96 runs in the semifinals of the North Zone B division league organised by Goa Cricket Association (GCA)  at the Academy ground in Porvorim on Thursday. Pilerne CC opted to field , after winning the toss , and restricted Global SC to 247 fof 8 in their allotted 40 overs. Later , the winners bowled out Pilerne CC for 151 in 33 overs. Peter Fernandes won the man of the match award for his 131 from 125 balls. In another B Division match played at MCC ground in Margao , Vasco City XI beat Bogda Youth Club by 41 runs . Vasco City XI was put in to bat first and they were bowled out for 176 in 38.5 overs. Bogda Youth Club , however , was bowled out for 135 in 36.4 overs. Sachin of Vasco was declared the man of the match for claiming 4 wickets in his allotted 8 overs.He conceded 35 runs. Babaji Raut of Bogda YC finished as the highest scorer of the match with a total of 54 from 106 balls. Vishal yadav of Vasco finished with the second highest score of 49 from 45 balls. At GCA ground in Sanguem , Seiko Club defeated Curchorem Cricket Club by 9 wickets. Seiko won the toss and opted to field and bowled Curchorem for 169 in 36.1 overs and they went on to score 170 for the loss of 1 wicket in 21 overs. Agildas Adambata of Seiko was declared the man of the match for his 112 from 69 balls.
