PORVORIM Goa Tuskers suffered their first defeat in Goa Corporate league 3 to GMR by five wickets at the GCA Academy ground in Porvorim on Tuesday. The lads from Goa decided to bat after winning the loss and with sagun and Swapnil out without contributing much , the onus fell on Suyesh Prabhudesai who hit 88 in 56 balls. Keenan Vaz and saurabh bandekar were the next two contributors for the Goa Tuskers with bot hitting 22 runs as Goa Tuskers closed their innings at 190 for the loss of seven wickets. GMR were assisted by two 51 runs scored by Anuj Rawat and Gurkeerat Singh respectively while Himmat Singh was 46 not out as GMR reached 193 for the loss of five wickets in 19.1 overs. Mr. Tulshidas Shetye and Mr. Anil Naik presented the Man of the Match award to Gurkeerat Singh of GMR.
