NEWS BYTES PORVORIM Manas Panjim Gymkhana require 171 runs to win with 5 wickets in hand and Chowgule Sports Club was on 216 for 3 after dismissing Salgaokar Cricket Club for 450 at close of second days play of the Goa premier League organised by Goa Cricket Association (GCA) at their Academy and Sanguem grounds respectively on Thursday. Panjim gymkhana dismissed Alcon MCC for 236 in their second innings and was on 84 for 5. Piyush yadav top scored with 46 from 45 balls and was assisted by 42 from Prathamesh Gawas. Digesh Raikar made 29 and Deepanshu Sharma scored 26. Heramb parab was not out on 21. Shubham Desai claimed five wickets and  Heram Parab claimed 3.Manish kakode took two wickets. Panjim Gymkhana was on 84 for 5 with Heramb not out on 10 and Rajshekar Harikant on 11. In the other match at Sanguem, Chowgule SC was on 216 for 3 with Kashyap Bakle not out on 110 and S Dubashi was giving him company with his 40 from 62 balls.
