NEWS BYTES PORVORIM Stamina Cricket Club defeated Akbar Sports Club by 119 runs in the Tiswadi Zone B Division cricket match organised by Goa Cricket Association (GCA) at Academy ground in Porvorim on Monday. Stamina CC won the toss and opted to bat and piled up a score of 305 in 42 overs. Akbar Sports Club was bundled out for 186 in 30.1 overs. Harshit Janvadkar was declared the man of the match for his 92 from 56 balls which included 10 hits to the boundary and 3 hits over the boundary. Pramod Naik finished as the highest scorer of the game with his 102 from 111 balls. Sachin Sardesa, also of Stamina CC, scored 56 from 50 balls. Sanchit Khanna of Stamina claimed 5 wickets from the allotted 8.1 overs and he gave away 34 runs. Rahul Naik took 3 wickets from his allotted 5.1 overs and he gave away 15 runs.
