NEWS BYTES PORVORIM Tarvale Cricket Club won the Goa B division title defeating Stamina Cricket Club by 43 runs in the finals organised by Goa Cricket association (GCA) at the Academy ground on Monday. Tarvale Cricket club won the toss and opted to bat and mustered 226 for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 40 overs. When their turn to field came, the winnwers bowled out Stamina Cricket Club for 183 in 35.2 overs. Kaushik chikhlikar of Tarvale CC was declared the man of the match for his 59 from 66 balls.Prajwal Ghodke of Tarvale finished with 81 from 79 balls and Abhishek Kotambikar scored 37 from 39 balls. Rupesh Sarwankar of Stamina finishedwith 4 wickets from 8 overs giving away 34 runs.Omkar Mohite from Tarvale CC claimed 3 wickets from his 8 overs whilst giving away 35 runs and Sagar Vantamuri finished with 2 wickets from his 8 overs at the cost of 42 runs.
