NEWS BYTES PORVORIM Goa Cricket Association started its Senior Womens T20 league , organised by BCCI , with a 4 wicket win over Gujarat Cricket Association at I S Bindra stadium in Mohali on Monday. Gujarat won the toss and was restricted to 103 for 7 in the allotted 20 overs. Needing 104 to register a win, Goa went on to score 104 for the loss of 6 wickets, with a ball to spare. Captain Shikha Pandey claimed two wickets for Goa and went on to finish as the top scorer with her 22 runs from 23 balls. Wicket keeper Vinavi Gaurav was not out on 20 from 19 balls and Nikita was not out on 6 from 4 balls. Sunanda scored 20 for Goa from 23 balls ; Shrey scored 12 from 15 balls and opener Purvaja Verlekar made 10 from 19 balls. Apart from Shikha ,Poorva Bhiadkar claimed 2 wickets for Goa from her 4 overs whilst conceding 12 runs. Rupali Chavan and Tejaswini Duragad both claimed 1 wicket each.
