NEWS BYTES PORVORIM Goa eves are on a roll, recording their fourth consecutive win in the Senior Womens T20 league , organised by BCCI , defeating Uttar Pradesh by 8 wickets at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh international cricket stadium at Mullanpur on Friday. Goa once again lost the toss and Uttar Pradesh opted to bat and they were restricted to 123 for 6 in their allotted 20 overs, Goa scored 124 for the loss of 2 wickets in 19 overs to earn four points and take their tally of points to 16 from 4 games. Sanjula Naik hit a half century in 55 balls and remained not out with four hits to the fence. Captain Shikha Pandey was not out on 29 from 19 balls when the winning runs were scored. Tejashwini Duragad scored 33 from 34 balls. Earlier , Poorva Bhaidkar claimed 2 UP wickets from her 4 overs whilst conceding 21 runs.Nikita, Metali Gawandar and Sunanda claimed one wicket each.
