NEWS BYTES PORVORIM Goa Cricket Association (GCA) leads Odisha Cricket Association by 79 runs at close of second days play of the Ranji Trophy 2021-2022 organised by BCCI at the Narendra Modi stadium ground ‘B’ in Motera on Friday . Odisha resuming on their overnight score of 23 for 3 was bowled by Goa for 189 in 56 overs. Goa started their second dinning losing two wickets in 87 runs enjoying a 79 runs lead. Shubham Ranjane stood out for Goa’s bowling with his 5 wickets in 15 overs.Shrikant Wagh , Suyash Prabhudesai and Darshan Misal claimed one wicket whilst Lakshay Garg , who claimed two Odisha wickets on first days play, was unable to claim any today. Openers Sumiran Amonkar and Amogh Desai were bowled for 33 from 89 balls and 42 from 79 balls respectively . Amulya Pandrekar was at crease on 5 from 13 balls along with Suyash Prabhudesai who has scored 6 from 11 balls.
