NEWS BYTES PORVORIM Goa Cricket Association (GCA) and Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) drew their first Ranji Trophy 2021-2022 match organised by BCCI at the Narendra Modi stadium ground ‘B’ in Motera on Sunday and the latter , ended with extra points by virtue of their first innings lead. Odisha had scored 189 in its first innings against Goa’s 181.Goa declared its second innings on 394 for 5 ; leaving Odisha to score 365 for a win. However, Odisha managed to hang on and finished the last day on 239 for the loss of seven wickets. Darshan Misal and Amit Yadav took two wickets for Goa . Darshan Misal gave away 76 runs in his 32 overs spell whilst Amit gave away 24 runs in his 26 over spell. Shrikant Wagh and Lakshay Garg claimed one wicket each.
