NEWS BYTES PORVORIM Goa Cricket Association (GCA) trails Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) by 101 runs at close of first day’s play of the U-25 C K Nayudu Trophy tournament organised by BCCI at the Alur cricket stadium in Bangalore on Monday. Himachal Pradesh won the toss and opted to bat and was bowled out for 193 . Shubham Tari was the main wicket taker for Goa with a haul of 5 wickets in his 11.5 overs. He conceded 42 runs in the bargain. Mohit Redkar claimed 2 wickets in his 12 overs at the cost of 48 runs and V G Kahlon took 2 wickets from his 5 overs , giving away 22 runs. Ruthvik Naik took the other wicket. Goa was 92 for the loss of 1 wicket at close of play with Vaibhav Govekar being the lone batsmen out on 36 from 62 balls. Manthan Khutkar was not out on 42 from 94 balls along with Kashyap Bakle who was not out on 12 from 36 balls.
