NEWS BYTES PORVORIM Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) was 4 for no loss in the second innings, at end of second day play of the CK Nayudu trophy match against Goa cricket Association (GCA) organised by BCCI at Alur cricket stadium in Bangalore on Wednesday. Goa who resumed on 92 for 1 went on to make 323 leaving HP trailing by 126 runs. Manthan Khutkar once again starred for Goa with his 89 from 174 balls. His strokes touched the boundaries on 12 occasions. V G Kahlon made 55 from 179 balls to end as the second highest scorer for Goa. Tunish Sawkar made 38 from 65 balls for Goa whilst Kashyap Bakle hit 26 from 80 balls. Captain Deepraj Gaonkar made 24 from 40 balls and Soham Panvalkar was not out on 23 from 46 balls. Mohit Redkar made 24 to be the other player to cross the double digit mark for Goa.
