Himachal Pradesh leads Goa by 397 runs: Cooch Behar Trophy

NEWS BYTES PORVORIM Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) was 550 for the loss of 5 wickets at close of stumps on the second day of the Cooch Behar Trophy against Goa cricket Association (GCA) at at Kholvad Gymkhana ground in Surat on Tuesday. The tournament is organised by BCCI. Resuming on their overnight score of 139 for no loss , Himachal Pradesh finished day two with a lead of 397 runs. Goa was bowled for 153 in its first innings with Manish Kakode being not out on 42. Fardeen Khan took two wickets for Goa in his 24 over spell giving away 74 runs. Deep Kasvankar also claimed 2 wickets in his spell of 38 overs surrendering 163 runs in the bargain. Udit Yadav took the other Himachal wicket.
