Goa bowled for 153, lead HP by 14 runs: Cooch Behar Trophy
NEWS BYTES PORVORIM Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) trailed Goa by 14 runs at close of stumps on the first day of the Cooch Behar Trophy organised by BCCI at Kholvad Gymkhana ground in Surat on Monday . Himachal won the toss and put Goa in to bat and the latter were dismissed for 153 in 53 overs with Manish Kakode remaining not out on 42. Manish scored his 42 from 60 balls and Udit Yadav finished as second highest scorer for Goa with 39 from 67 balls. Izaan Shaikh scored 16 from 46 balls and Chittem Devankumar made 14 from 28 balls. Deep Kasvankar was the fifth player from Goa to have crossed the double digit mark with his 12 from 33 balls. Himachal were not out on 139 after having faced 35 overs with opener Ashu Sharma not out on 78.
