NEWS BYTES PORVORIM Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA) began the final day of their Ranji Trophy tie – organized by BCCI- against Goa by declaring on their overnight score of 305 for 3, leaving Goa to score 341 for a win at the Narendra Modi stadium ground ‘B’ in Motera on Sunday . However that was not to be as Saurashtra bowled Goa for 130 in 34.2 overs , winning by 211 runs. The Goa batsmen could never really take off on the final day with Suyash Prabhudesai ending as the highest scorer with 39 runs on his bat. Opener Amogh Desai contributed 26 runs. Captain Snehal Kauthankar and bowler Amit Yadav both scored 13 runs and wicket keeper KD Eknath scored 11 and Shrikant Wagh 10 to be amongst the batsmen to cross the double digit mark for Goa.
