Badem Sports & Cultural Club beat Diwar Sports Club by 78 runs in the Tiswadi Zone B Division League organised by Goa Cricket Association (GCA) at Academy ground in Porvorim on Wednesday.
Badem Sporst & CC won the toss and opted to bat and were bowled out for 195 in 37.3 overs. In return , they managed to bowl out rivals Diwar SC for 117 in 30.3 overs.
Abhinandan Thakur was declared the man of the match for his 5 wicket haul from his 8.3 overs. He gave away 20 runs in the process.Prajyot Ajagekar of Diwar SC claimed 3 wickets from his 6 overs surrendering 23 runs and Omkar Gaude also claimed 3 wickets from 8.3 overs and he gave away 36 runs.
Sachin Dhaude of Badem S&CC finished as top scorer of the match with his 80 from 91 balls. Suraj Sawal scored 45from 48 balls.
