NEWS BYTES PORVORIM Jetty Cricket Club defeated Hill Top Cricket Club by 82 runs in the South Zone , B Division 2021-22 League match organized by Goa Cricket Association (GCA) at Margao Cricket Club (MCC) ground in Margao on Tuesday. Hill top won the toss and put Jett CC in to bat and had them bowled out for 167 in 34.1 overs. The winners , then dismissed Hill Top for 85 in 31.1 overs. Shoiab Ansari was selected as Man of the Match for claiming 3 wickets in his allotted 8 overs and conceding 11 runs .Amit Patel of Hill Top finished as the highest wicket taker with5 wickets, also in 8 overs, and conceding 26 runs. D Playekar claimed 3 wickets from his allotted 8 overs and gave away 22 runs. Shekar Ambiga, - not out on 45 from 44 balls, finished with the highest score of the day. Sai Tulak scored 35 from 64 balls and Jaipal Vind from Hill top scored 23 from 37 balls.
