MRF Sports Club beat Seiko Club by 5 wickets in the South Zone Division league match organised by Goa cricket association (GCA) at GCA ground in Sanguem on Tuesday.
Seiko club was put in to bat , after losing the toss and were bowled out for 135 in 33.1 overs. Winners MRF Sports Club went on to notch 138 for the loss of 5 wickets in 24.1 overs.
Chetan Mardolkar of MRF was declared the man of the match for his four wicket haul and remaining not out on 21 from 21 balls. Jaggu patil pf MRF finished as top batsman with his 50 from 43 balls.Nisraj Nagvekar of Seiko finished with a batting score of 49 from 78 balls.
Chandan Borkar of MRF and Nisraj of Seiko claimed 2 wickets each.
