Captain Kaushal’s 96 helps steady Goa’s 1st day play : Cooch Behar Trophy

NEWS BYTES PORVORIM Goa Cricket Association (GCA) finished the first day of the Cooch Behar Trophy , organized by BCCI , on 222 for the loss of six wickets against Tamil Nadu at the Lalbhai contractor stadium in Surat on Monday. Tamil Nadu chose to filed after winning the toss and captain Kaushal Hattangadi steadied Goa’s innings with his 96 from 128 balls. At the end of play Udit Yadav was not out on 53 from 225 balls along with Deep Kasvankar who was batting on 18. Veer Yadav 17 and Shivendra Bhujbal who scored 14 from 32 balls were the other two batsmen from Goa who crossed the double digit mark.
