NEWS BYTES PORVORIM Goa Cricket Association was bowled out for 251 on second day play of the Cooch Behar Trophy and TN was 255 for the loss of 2 wickets leaving Goa trailing by four runs at stumps at Lalbhai Contractor stadium in Surat on Tuesday. Resuming on 222, Udit Yadav who was not out on 53 was bowled for 64 after adding eleven runs to his overnights score and that signaled the end of Goa’s resilience at the crease who managed to add 29 runs to their total on the second day. Tamil Nadu started with aplomb with both openers scoring a century. Opener S R Athish scored 115 from the 177 bowls he faced and B Sachin recorded 102 before both became scalps of Goan bowlers Fardeen Khan and Deep Kasvankar respectively.
